I see this type of reductionist nonsense nearly everytime someone points out something the person doesn't like about Biden - like his unwavering support for the colonialist project of Israel.
OTOH, I feel like more "left" leaning people are starting to understand what the anarchists have been saying all along - be it through unintentional sublimation just from being *here*, or the fact that everyday there are another dozen glaring examples of the way capitalism is destroying us all.
As the effects of climate/housing/opioid/inequality/genocide/etc lands more and more in their backyards, they can no longer ignore or deny their existence. Will they explore for the true cause, or find another convenient sheet of make-believe to pull up around their eyes?
It's a tremulous time and I really believe most of the folks here are doing their best. Right now, more than ever, we all need to do better.
