At the end of the day, ChatGPT and the rest of the AI shit is entirely cynical, because it presupposes that all human intelligence can ever be is the sum of its parts. It's looking at human nature and its consciousness as though we're bits and bytes. It's dehumanizing, and it's wrong, and it's short-sighted, and that's why it's bullshit and will fail just like "the metaverse" did.
