The new series of Futurama is … not great. I can’t tell if the quality of the writing has gone down or if it just hasn’t progressed. I suspect it’s a mixture, from the first episode trying to make a joke about being saved by Hulu / but belabouring that point so much that it stopped being a joke to the current episode which was an interesting rift on the digital currency world but with stale jokes, including an Apple Maps one, it feels like it’s been torn from time
