It’s on mornings such as these, when I’m incredibly tired through shortened sleep, that I try to remind myself that no day is a foregone conclusion.

Yes, I’m tired, but it doesn’t follow that the day will be bad because of that. My day is a blank canvas, waiting for me to paint it however I see fit. I don’t have to smear it brown and declare it to be shit.
