I've been thinking over the last week - I'm very much enjoying the non-ad non-algorithm based feeds of mastadon. Especially as I still have an Instagram that I'm using.
The problem - a lot of people I like to follow aren't here. Even the ones I have direct contact with I see it being difficult to convince them to switch. It's a problem I've run into trying to convince family and others to use Signal as well.
How do you approach this challenge?
