According to the Daily Mail, the reason Biden pardoned Anthony Fauci was "likely due to fears he could be charged with perjury by Trump's DOJ."

Fauci would either have to humiliate himself and admit that he lied to Congress, or he could perjure himself all over again, and be prosecuted for a new perjury.
