My first camera was a Kodak Brownie. It was gifted to me, by a kind nurse, when I was hospitalized & quarantined - isolated from my family & everyone else - at age 5. I started learning by playing with the camera & shooting the environment around me. I tried to use photography to reconnect with the world & communicate to people around me - mostly just medical staff saw my earliest photographs. The kind nurse spent her own monies to develop my photos for me. I'll never forget her kindness 💗
