People will eventually forget and/or forgive... Permanent, un-deletable writings will haunt you forever and assholes will pry on your recorded mistakes 🤷🏻‍♂️ makes me miss those times before smartphones, where you could do all sorts of stupid things and there was no record of evidence, just the memories of the few close friends present... IMO, a person should always be able to control their own personal stuff, we're not transacting payments here, just talking, sharing thoughts. I wouldn't have done a lot of things in my life if there was always someone pointing a phone at me. Same here, if I'm not able to delete my own posts, I might not feel entirely free to spit out whatever goes through my mind in the act. I may hesitate and decide not to participate instead.
