We’re on a waitlist for infant daycare.
Full time care at our first choice center is $461/week.
Second choice is $520
If we can’t get a spot soon, our next option is hiring a nanny for 30 hours a week, at the local going rate of $20/hourly, plus taxes.
In other words, I need to earn at least $35 /hour to cover the costs of childcare and be able to contribute to household expenses and retirement
