A watched toaster never pops.
Anyways. I had to have some routine pre-op tests yesterday before my procedure on Thursday.
One of them was a 12-lead ECG. The young nurse asked me to take off my t-shirt and hop up on the bed.
“Sure”, I said.
“But before that. Can you take anything metal out of your pockets…..and take off your watch….and your shoes…and your belt…and that pendant, and your earring…oh and pop off your glasses.”
“Um…..sure”, I obeyed.
“Now, breathe out,hold your breath…AND DONT MOVE!”
I guess I got an ECG and airport security clearance to board an international flight.
