It's worse than that, I'm afraid. I don't think Trump cares about anything at all. If he felt there was money and authoritarian power in some other ideology, he'd follow that. He's just the spokesmodel / face of the brand of hate the white supremacist oligarchs own.
It's not so much that he wants us dead, it's that he's completely fine with killing anything or anyone that suits his purpose.
He's totally indifferent to the fate of humanity or the earth itself, so long as he and his get what they want.
