H. Faust (nprofile…46gc) I think a lot of mouseless/minimal window manager users kind of converged on i3 and dwm in terms of usebase anyway. There were more xmonad or herbstluft or awesomewm users like ten years ago, but the casual and intermediate users seemed to have drifted over to i3 or dwm depending on preference. To say nothing of the ratpoison et. al. users that kinda still existed fifteen years ago and all but died out.
But just to add insult to injury: you can use sway, which is run by sociopaths, or dwl, which has the usual suckless pains associated with it. Or you go fuck yourself and use GNOME or KDE. Future! This is progress! Yay!
