It's taught me that there are many people talking about how much straight men hate women, without providing any examples, just saying it over and over again. They make it seem like it's significant, without actually proving that, because like any wedge issue, if they can pit women against men, we'll spend our time fighting with each other, rather than working together to end oppression.
