We focus on using UX/UI and it's totally confusing (as UX used to be called UI 10 years ago!) It's shooting ourselves in the foot with a needle-threading distinction that only confuses. My point wasn't that any term for design is perfectly understood, only that UX/UI isn't adequate and I was attempting something else that gets more to the temporal and deeper nature of proper design. It may not work. I'm just brainstorming here...
