In the early days of conversion to flash storage at
npub1c29kx7f4fk373vjte8lpdmseuqcl6qlk0y2mn478c047hn8lzkksjsgqq5 (npub1c29…gqq5) (2015–2016) I was very concerned about write endurance. Since then I tend to tell people to worry less about it unless they've measured their workload. I certainly paid through the nose for high endurance drives back then.
8 years later some of them are still in service and have between 5 and 10 percent of their write capacity used.
