Most clients are going for the Twitter style feed but I was just giving it time for the Instagram/Snapchat/(I'm working on a reddit style one) etc start coming out. But your scenerio is basically what I envision for nostr except would probably be diff apps provide the diff "views" instead of all under one roof.
