That little poll I'm doing about #Wikipedia editing (https://wikis.world/@theresnotime/110689273954028174) is showing that a lot of people edited a couple of times, found they were reverted by people "gatekeeping" an article and never tried again — that's really disappointing to hear, and something we the community should tackle!
