I'm wondering whether there's a chance of writing 80s-style demos for some RISC-V hardware. Is there some hardware that's documented enough to use directly from assembly? I mostly care about graphics, sound, inputs. If not, is there a runtime, or some OS / libraries that would provide an acceptable boilerplate? Is there a decent assembler out there (i.e. that's meant to be used by hand, instead of being fed the output of a compiler)?
