in 2018 I was a highschooler going to compete at the nationals level for an IT related competition hosted by some young business professionals group.
Now fucking *hated* professionalism. A teacher told me to tuck in my shirt for a photo at the state level competition and it pissed me off (I mostly kept that to myself internally though). This competition seemed like glorified test taking with kids cosplaying as business professionals.
So when i was going to nationals for a second time, I packed my maid outfit... Now mind you, i was too much of a coward to actually go through with the idea, but I *did* bring the darn thing in my luggage, fully intent on carrying through with the idea of "wouldn't it be fucking hilarious if I wore a maid outfit at the conference for business professionals?"
