Been so long since I read the books, but the story departures are a mixed bag and many shortcuts seem, to me, to be kind of sloppy 😳. But it's an unbelievably complex story to convert to TV so I'm glad they made it. I tried watching the Chinese version and couldn't get into it. I may re-read the books 😄
