According to my #GameDesign book, a game can be balanced by carefully decide what to show in detail and what to leave to the player's imagination to colour in. Sometimes, imagination is much better in establishing something than the details we give the player. I find that a difficult idea to grasp. Does anyone have thoughts on that? What are we looking at here?
Note: is about The Lens of Imagination in Jesse Schell's The Art of Game Design.
