ignoring a bunch of replies from people who seem to think that git's CLI has no responsibility to actually be usable by the people who use it (“other people can implement a better UI on top of git if they want", etc).
I know that's a popular point of view but the attitude that people's (very real) problems with the git CLI don't matter always makes me mad and I can't get behind it.
