Other people love you because.
Because of this, or because of that. Because of some circumstance, physical characteristic, personality trait, condition, or some other attribute.
God is not like this. God loves you unconditionally. He loves us when we hate him. He loves us when we do things that disgust him. He loves us when we lie to him. He lives us when we don't even live ourselves. He loves us because that is who he is. God is love.
We don't earn it. We don't deserve it. We are not even fully capable of understanding it. And yet, with all these things said, still
He Loves Us.
How wonderful is that? He offers reconciliation to us. All that is necessary is acceptance of His offer of the gift of forgiveness. That's it.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. " Romans 10:9
