Anyone old enough to remember these wonderful magazines?
They were released in 1990/91, a spin-off from the "Mean Machines" section of C&VG magazine.
They were presumably meant to test the waters for a publication focused entirely on the still-miniscule console market in the UK, rather than the more widely popular 8-bit and 16-bit micros.
As such, they felt enormously exotic, with lots of Japanese and American game coverage that we wouldn't otherwise have seen.
