I’m almost afraid to present an opinion on PyCon masking, but here goes anyway.
- I did not attend, in part due to the mask requirement
- I wish masks were optional
- If required, paper surgical masks should be acceptable
- surgical masks seem fine for public hospitals, and were accepted throughout the pandemic
- I gotta fly on a plane full of unmasked people to get to PyCon
- none of the restaurants in the venue city will require masks
I’m NOT anti science. I just disagree.
