Personally I don't like ini like formats (like toml), especially with trees.
The best format I found was hcl. (or Ron, but Ron is a very technical format, and rust specific more or less)
Sadly ini is a very free and unspecified format.
Toml doesn't improve much in that (but it has a format specification)
