Is this concept different from IRC chat rooms that require an operator to allow a user to have voice? (read only) Or invite only IRC channels? (cannot read)
What makes nostr different is the relaying and duplication of data making it impossible to stop. If there is only one relay, is the benefit of nostr lost in that to shut down a community all anyone has to do is dos one server?
Maybe I am not understanding the concept here.
