After a bit more than a month, my cousin Dorothy died this morning from COVID complications. We had hoped she might recover enough to putter along for a few more years, maybe in a nursing center rather than living independently as she had, but the damage to her lungs and kidneys was just too much to overcome.
This is the sixth member of my family taken by this virus.
