It is terrifying when you think about the long-term impact of microplastics. There are things you can do to help your body detox and minimize harm:

•Support your liver & kidneys: These are your body’s primary detox organs. Prioritize nutrient-dense foods rich in antioxidants. Hydration is key too.
•Sweat it out: Regular exercise and sauna sessions (especially infrared) can help expel toxins, including microplastics. Dry sauna helps too, the goal is to sweat.

•Gut health: A healthy gut lining can reduce absorption of toxins. Bone broth, collagen, and probiotics can strengthen your gut barrier.

•Bind & eliminate: natural binders like chlorella or activated charcoal help trap and remove toxins.

•Limit further exposure: glass bottled spring water (most filters can’t completely eliminate plastics), avoid plastic containers (especially when heating food), and choose natural fibers over synthetics. Knowing the source of the seed of where your food is coming from helps as well. I don’t eat out often, and I order my food from regenerative farms and ranches. Use:

The key here is supporting your body’s natural detox pathways, this can make a significant difference.

I’ve been going down this rabbit hole for some time now for plastic and heavy metal elimination, it’s mind-blowing how compromised our food system and environment have become.

I hope this helps!
