Play what you think is the highest quality move, instead of playing a move with the intention of your opponent not noticing the threat. Keep this up and then wait for your opponent to mess up, because a high percentage eventually will. Know some opening theory, for 2-3 openings, just so you aren’t losing from the start. I’ve also been playing a lot of blitz to get in more games and get better at time management.
