My Globe colleague Jon Chesto is always, always in touch with the business community zeitgeist and lately it’s been focused on one particular, techy topic: AI. That a new technology has applications across so many fields is telling. Jon mentions that it reminded one exec of the evolution of e-commerce. I’d go a step further and say it absolutely reminds me of the arrival of the Internet in mainstream society back in the 1990s.
