it's shit. I'm against all types of intelectual property rights. Ideas belong in the wild and profits belong to the best implementation. IPR are just assholes that think they have rights over others. If you have a good idea that only works if nobody else does it, then it's a shit idea, if you're bad at implementing your own idea, then you should do something else and let the better actors do it instead, it's beeing implemented anyway (by you or others) so you should be happy. People that think they arrived to some abstract conclusion and have the rights to that is peak fiat.
