tomorrow is my 50th birthday and for some reason it feels so significant that, after four years of work, I'm about a week away from finishing #othernetworks, probably the best/most creative thing I've ever made: 85,000 words, 209 images, and just three (probably massive) entries left to write ... and, while it's all about helping us to reimagine the present internet, much of it wouldn't be possible without THIS internet and these social networks, as toxic and terrible as they all can be
