"content": "I was thinking about this again today. Speaking of poking holes in it, I’m curious why we need blockchain to connect existing bank accounts. We could simply use a signature reference on Nostr for each transaction. Besides on-chain transactions, I would also recommend doing this for Lightning transactions.\n\nI previously asked nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqfdwaehxw309akxuerfwd3hxtnyw43kkerwwvhx7un89ahx7um5wfex2mrp0yhk54n9veghsm66qqsgatmzhwdrf33d2my77scxyv2p5ej032ke0n2hghhddtavz2nkthgs44cy0 and nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0s0pfy4z about using Nostr to store Bitcoin and Lightning transactions, as it would make switching wallets easier while retaining transaction data.
