I think that the number one thing I absolutely hate the most about coming out as trans, disclosing a mental illness, disclosing a neurodevelopmental condition, etc, is that fuckers make it about how the thing you are disclosing has numerous negative impacts on *their* life. Not one bit about validating you and trying to understand that it’s probably kicking *your* ass more than theirs, and has been possibly for decades.
Makes me want to just flip my shit.
