you aren't the only one that has to do this. I got called a coward because I don't want any part of nostr and it's massive CSAM problem so we are moving as well. i am having hardware built out for us that will allow me to experiment on our current database without affecting production so eventually I'll have a plan in place to move to pleroma proper
