which was why they called it mozilla, which is a portmanteau meaning "mosaic killer" just leave out the middle syllables
and aaron schwartz invented RSS, and RSS became a hugely popular grass roots mostly peer to peer blog messaging protocol and google EEEd it as well
this is all very relevant to us because http/html was an early form of p2p social network, and rss, another, google has basically monopolised email, which was another, and nostr is basically an attempt to free communication from the silos with all the forums owned by like 5 companies and their abuse of users by manipulating the feeds, essentially nostr removes all the system parts and is just the protocol underneath that all social networks are built on, and this architecture covers everything from email to instant messaging to forums to document distribution and the framework in which you can distribute links to media hosting systems
we are up against some very mean and nasty enemies here, and people don't realise that the barbarians are already inside the gates pretending to be like us
