It's 2024 and I just bought an S-VHS #VCR along with a standalone #tape rewinder. I'm part of a test group for a #popculture preservation project to digitise and archive #70s, #80s and #90s #TV ads and local news etc. before the tapes deteriorate to the point where they're unusable.
