We had special inexpensive ad space for restaurants because we know most didn’t have that much money. Would sell like 100 of these ads a month. Then it started disappearing. The restaurants moved their money to advertising on the web. Our salespeople asked about their success there, most said it didn’t work but since it was cheaper than print advertising they would advertise on the web instead.
