If I'm allowed to reply-guy on this topic, LibreOffice Impress has repeatedly crashed while I was preparing presentations mere hours or minutes before delivering said presentation. I'm not saying that Microsoft Office would have done a better job, but for the past ~8 years or so I've stayed away from LO as much as I can, and I now do all my slides in Google Slides, Canva, or recently Penpot.
Maybe instead of muting people we could ask, with an open heart, _why_ people think that way.
