The Lego D&D minifigs absolutely slap. The design team fully nailed it with this collection.
I love that they really worked hard to make sure this set has as many different options as possible so that you can use them as character minis in your own games. Ever player-character fig comes with either a custom-sculpted head (dragonborn & aarakokra) or masc and femme head options with different face choices to boot. They did the rounds of the classes, making sure there are accessories for everyone: a spellbook; three familiars or animal companions, several different primary weapons, arcane focuses, and spells; various cloaks, collars, and neck accessories, and a full range of ancestries to cover almost anyone you'd want to play.
The number of custom sculpted pieces in here is incredible: the paladin's full plate armor, Jarnathan's digitigrade legs, the Lady of Pain's iconic mask, and five different multi-material sculpted headpieces including tiefling horns and Tasha's curly locks & pointy hat.
I'm not a huge battle map person, but this set really makes me want to assemble Lego minifigs for characters and adversaries, even if our stories are all theater of the imagination. They're just too heckin' cool not to have at the table.
