They are liquid addresses.. my client shows them as icons but they are texting in the event. Yes I agree we need a nip to define everything. But I had to make the client to implement it and show proof of concept before I proceed to draft the nip. I would think NIP24 needs a slight change to add the new w tag and a new nip to define wallets.
But NIP24 doesn't even show a ton of extra fields people are already using in their content.
