The 90s I think saw some merging. New Age is very broad. I recall "witchcraft" that was just rehashed Golden Dawn. Also I think I saw critique of New Age from some witchcraft and pagan groups.
Past that it did merge in the cultures mind as general "alternate religion."
I think the 00s saw EVERYTHING be increasingly affected by merchandisability. Between capitalism, internet acceleration, and siloing it affected everything.
So my vague memory vomit.
