The risks is incomparable, when you’re on the one hand have a Bitcoin full node (which among others is used for checking balances in your wallet, communicating with mempool (npub18d4…6lt3) and broadcasting transactions) and comparing it to a Lightning node with
- real hard money
- with absolute scarcity
- on a hot wallet
- on relatively bad hardware
- with chips from Broadcom Inc.
- which is not open source

You’re doing ok if you only use the Raspberry Pi for a Bitcoin Core full node or Electrs “An efficient re-implementation of Electrum Server in Rust” in StartOS from Start9 (npub126n…e9ll), umbrel (npub1agh…mhct), mynodebtc (npub1r29…23pd) or Raspiblitz.

But as I previously said. Stay away from Lightning nodes on Raspberry Pi :raspberrypi: (npub156q…ttfe)
