From what i gathered so far Bitcoiners are the OGs and creators of Nostr. So that’s why bitcoin is integrated into it. Its primary function is to be a decentralized social media network. So no banning or anything like that you own your account it’s yours, not like traditional social media where they own your account and can do with it as they please. With bitcoin integrated into the platform you can make money from your content with Zaps. It’s still in its early stages, most users and content is bitcoin related.
