Just upgraded to #LinuxMint 22I upgraded from an aging Ubuntu installation, and the process was completely painless. My external #ZFS array magically just re-imported itself, which is still amazing to me, even though I have come to expect that everything with ZFS will just work. I did have to re-install several apps, of course, but other than that, everything works the same or better than before (very much unlike upgrading Microsoft Windows). I went through the trouble of backing up everything before the upgrade, but fortunately I needed none of my backups.
I am so glad I can spend the rest of my winter holiday not worrying about the details of my operating system, everything is working alright.
