Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse (npub1vse…v7q2) might be a consequence of mainland Europe being quicker to adopt recycling than the UK - I remember in high school (and on a visit to Germany for work in 2001) learning that you had to separate all the trash but UK only started doing this in the 2000s (law passed in 2003, final date for separated recycling at home 2010)
