I've seen many build their own YouTube type website and try to compete against YouTube but always fail because it's expensive to host videos. Many try the monthly subscription plans, then eventually add ads but all of it fails and they give up.
Rumble and YouTube have deep pockets and are not even profitable companies.
Building a YouTube type zap website is the future. I'd like to see this too.
