When I search for something on the internet these days, I find myself skimming the three or so lines of result text that Duckduckgo provides, asking myself: does that look like an LLM wrote it?
What a horrible feeling and such a waste of time.
A concrete example: I'm listening to a modern classical music piece, and I searched for the title to see what critics or other had said and maybe to understand a bit more of the context. But many of the results look like something a LLM would have written.
Anyway, I should create a list of things that are just impossible to trust the search results for anymore. From this past weekend I have so far:
- parenting/baby advice
- music critiques
- advice on how to use cooking ingredients
