At some hacker conference somewhere in the world many years ago, I can't really remember when it was, maybe in the early 2010s, there was a talk titled, "Democracy Is Deprecated". I remember watching part of that talk in an embedded video on Tumblr. Does anybody remember this? Google isn't really helpful right now.

Anyway, it seems like they were right, democracy seems to be on the way out, it won't be supported in future versions of our societies anymore. The owners of the planet have decided that it is easier being rich on a planet without democracy.
